Aqualisa asked to Design a new app in line with brand guidelines with improved onboarding functionality for QSVC.
• Aqualisa are leaders in smart and digital products with a ~50% share in the £32m Digital showers market (OC&C, 2022). Since 2016, Aqualisa’s market share in smart has diminished (BSRIA, 2021) as they lose out on sales to competitors like Mira (Kohler).
• In order to cement position as market leaders in the smart/digital market, Aqualisa need to launch a new smart product to refresh the offering and challenge the competition.
• Aqualisa’s first app “ShowerMe” was released in 2020. The current app is dated, and has experienced some reliability issues, specifically around onboarding.
• Customer reviews have indicated consumers that are not happy with the ShowerMe app performance, the app currently sits in the Apple App Store with a 2.0-star review (out of 5.0), with 178 ratings.
Aqualisa will release a new app with improved onboarding and styling to improve consumers smart showering experience.
